2. Work on Poem Writing

REMINDER: YOUR END OF UNIT ASSESSMENT is 100 points

• 60 points: Essay.  You will take one poem and show what is the author’s theme and analyze how the author uses poetic/literary devices to develop the them. (OCT 2)
• 40 points.  POEMFOLIO ( Draft Due OCT 1, FINAL Due OCT 9)
  • Submit four original poems you have written and revised
  • Type and illustrate the poems
  • Include a 1-2 paragraph write up for each explaining the THEME and inspiration for each poem, how they changed through the revision process) and what Poetic/literary devices you used to develop each.
