*If your group wants an opportunity for feedback and a second draft.  If you just want to take whatever grade with zero opportunity to improve, due Monday, June 3.

How your group should progress

The rest of the way you have TWO tasks

  • Make your presentation (or share your video) with the class (tentatively scheduled for May 16/17.  This presentation basically includes explaining
    • Why a publisher should buy your book (why the book is likely to draw readers)
    • Why a publisher should be interested in signing your author (some author background)
    • Why your book is a good buy for your publisher’s education division (why it’s good for school/literary merits)
    • What a cover for your book might look like.
  • Write your mini-research paper (Due May 30 if you want a draft with feedback)
    • QUESTION:  How did your author’s background influence their work and why is that work valuable?
