- Monday: Read Ch. 7 in class (it’s a long one)
- Tuesday: Chapter 7 mapping activity
THE GREAT GATSBY: CHAPTER 7 MAPPING EXERCISE
YOUR TASK: Use a sheet of printer paper to draw a map of the action in Ch.7. Mark/annotate five specific scenes from within Chapter 7 on the map. (there are basically five changes in setting throughout the chapter. You’ll plot the scene from each one on the map).
- Number these chronologically 1-5
- Near/next to each number include:
- The location
- A brief (shoot for 25 words or fewer description of what happens)
- One quote, with MLA citation, that is representative of each scene.
- (Note, two locations occur twice, they’ll likely be 1 and 5 and 2 and 4 on your map.
