- Use lateral reading to help you EVALUATE a source’s reliability. (Continuation from Friday)
- Be able to pronounce each of the unit 1 vocab words (more on that tomorrow). For now, see list posted at classroom.
IN CLASS
- Finish assignment from Friday. (if you weren’t here, ask a friend or neighbor for help getting started).
- When done, spend some time with the Vocab Words and Definitions. Don’t worry about the slides at the end with the warmup exercises. We’ll hit those in class. But at least familiarize yourself with the words and their pronunciations.

As a result of today’s lesson you should be able to define LATERAL READING in your own words and show that you can USE lateral reading to help determine the reliability of a source.

B) Began working on the assignment posted at classroom where you practice lateral reading and MLA citations. (We will finish this in class on Monday)
