1. Correctly pronounce the unit 10 vocab words
2. Explain the general outline of the Lit Circles assignment and rate the books you are most interested in from 1-3 (top three choices)

LEARNING TARGETS:  ALL CLASSES SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT OF PARALLELISM (aka “Parallel Sentence Structure).  

PARALLEL SENTENCE STRUCTURE:

• Question:  Why do we usually tell you to vary your sentence structure and beginnings?
• Question:  What happens here when Brady Dennis takes his story “After the Sky Fell” and basically ignores everything I just told you?
  • What Dennis is doing is called Parallelism or Parallel structure.
