English 10 SYLLABUS

LATE POLICY:

• Late Work is accepted with the following guidelines
  • DAILY WORK (in class assignments, homework etc).
    • HARD COPY ONLY!  Turn in to the bin under the table at the front of the class.
    • 50 percent credit (thus if the assignment was worth 10 points, you normally would have earned 8, you get 4).
    • MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE THE END OF UNIT ASSESSMENT IS DUE
  • MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS (tests, papers, projects–basically all end-of-unit assessments)
    • HARD COPY ONLY!  Turn in to the bin under the table at the front of the class.
    • 10 percent penalty each class day it is late.  (For example if you would have scored 85 out of 100 and turn it in two days late you would get a 68 (85 – (8.5×2))
    • EXAM PORTION OF DOUBLE JEOPARDY receives the grade without penalty.
