WARMUP:  Create a crossword puzzle clue for each of the following vocab words.  You are not allowed to use any of the terms from your vocab sheets.

  • Waive

IN CLASS:  Work Day.  You can focus on either of the following

  1. Finishing your assignment from yesterday (Due at end of class)
  2. Reading Chapter 3  (Due tomorrow)

REMEMBER:  QUIZ TOMORROW

  • Literary Terms (anything that we’ve added to the master sheet I gave you is fair game–as is FORESHADOWING).

WARMUP:  Write a paragraph that includes correct usage of the following words

WARMUP:  Pretend you are a cartoonist and you are making a version of Of Mice and Men where all the characters would be shown as animals.  What animals would you use for George and Lenny? Why?
